So, as is expected with my desire to collect things I never use, I now have a new web journal.
I would like to think this is so I can feel instantly inspired when I sit at the keyboard to write for it, but in reality it is so I can easily see all my crafty friends at a glance.
I suppose I should stand up and make a confession at this point. My name is Malus Diabolus and I am a collector of things I will never finish.
Bad Malus! *slaps hand*

Yesterday I went out and bought The Simplicity historical corset pattern 7215. Having never followed a paper pattern pattern before I thought it was best to start out simple. Oh, wait.
Bum.

Ah well, never mind.
I will try to keep the journal updated with the pattern progress. (the road to hell, and all that...)

I also bought a large (well about 1.5m) cut of beautifully soft fake fur yesterday. It looks just like I have killed a bunch of squirrels. (and expertly skinned them etc etc). As yet I have no real plans for it. It just called out to me. I am weak. *sigh*
However, I may succumb to some fleece blankets that are for sale at the local pound stretchers and use them to back it.
I always need more snuggly things.
